GUIDELINES:
Day 1 intentionally has more food than the following days to ease the body into a fasting state.
You may have one cup of black coffee, one cup of plain green tea, one caffeinated unsweetened water, or up to six cups of decaf per day. 140 mgs of caffeine total.
You may have unlimited water and sparking water (Lacroix, Bubly, etc.) so long as it is unsweetened. No stevia, monkfruit, licorice root or other natural sweeteners or artificial sweeteners are permitted.
You may split up the food for each day in whatever way you’d like but do not swap food from one day to the next. You do not have to eat all of the food each day but uneaten food may not be carried over to the next day.
You may have the juice of 2 slices of lemon, 1 Tablespoon of dried spices, unlimited herbal tea (no licorice, fruit, or root ingredients – herbs only), and sea salt. No other additions are permitted.
If you are so physically hungry that you are considering breaking your fast you may have one persian (baby) cucumber, 2 stalks of celery, or 2 slices of green apple.
